Sandra Bullock So Happy She Did Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close And So Are We!
Sandra Bullock must have just LAHVED working on this movie! She just keeps gushing about it!
We already told you the first time she wrote an essay on Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, but now she’s saying even more.
Apparently the thought of the project was so exciting to her, she decided to get out of her acting slump for it:
I was perfectly content to be permanently broken time-wise… I honestly didn’t think I was in a place where I wanted to work or wanted to step out of where I was. I wasn’t prepared. But the opportunity was louder than my head.
And not only that, but she even goes goes into detail about a very emotional scene she did with Tom Hanks. Tom plays her husband who makes a phone call on the top of one of the towers on 9/11. She says:
The thing that made it so poignant for me was that Tom Hanks showed up that day. He sat in a room not far from where I was and made that call every single time. Every time I pick up that phone, it was Tom Hanks on the other end of the line. My husband who is calling because he knows he’s going to die, giving me some gift, some joy, some jewel – something that he can leave me with so he knows I’m going to be OK.
OMG chilling! This film sounds like it’s gonna be a tearjerker for sure!
We’re getting a little sad just thinking about it! But one thing’s for sure, we’re glad Sandie decided to get back in her game! We’ve been missing her!!!
