Modern Family Actors File Lawsuit, Refuse To Show To First Day Of Work!

July 24th 2012 in Perez

Threats! Lawsuits! Squabbles over cash!

This is EXACTLY how real families act!

Ed O’Neil joined forces with the rest of Modern Family’s adult cast and together they’ve filed a lawsuit against their network ABC.

Sofia Vergara, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Eric Stonestreet are scheduled to make $65k while Al Bundy Ed is scheduled to make $105k per episode in the upcoming fourth season, but none of the actors feel they’re being compensated fairly.

While the $200k per they’re requesting may seem a little steep, reports have ABC making over $160 mil off advertising revenue alone from the show last season. The network certainly afford to pay.

Contract disputes are par for the course with off-season drama but this lawsuit is especially troubling because it comes the day the cast was supposed to meet at the studios for the first table read of the new year.

The table read was canceled, obviously, but were no longer sure what to expect from the Emmy winning show!!

Do U think the network should cave to their demands or demand that they complete their agreed upon contracts??
