Letterman Beats Leno In The Ratings For The First Time in 17 Years!!

In your face!!

Ha, kidding! We’re fans of both of you.

Seriously though, we are super happy for David Letterman because he just beat Jay Leno in the ratings for the first time in 17 years!!

Crazy!

The Tonight Show has managed to hang on to its number 1 ranking among adults ages 18-49 for several years, but finally, during the period of October 27 to November 23, 2011, the Late Show had a 13% better rating than the Tonight Show.

That’s huge!!! And we’re really happy for Dave. He is the original late night king since Johnny Carson and totally deserves this win.

Congrats!
