Kings Of Leon Drama Continues! Bandmates Reportedly Want Caleb Followill In Rehab
Unfortunately, we saw this one coming.
To recap, Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill got very sick while performing during a Friday night show in Dallas, blamed it on the heat, and then couldn’t perform the rest of the show.
Following the show, Caleb’s brother Jared tweeted an apology to fans, and made it clear that there were BIGGER issues going on then just heat exhaustion.
Then yesterday we learned that all the U.S. shows in Kings of Leon’s tour are being cancelled, and in a statement released by their rep, the reason given was that Caleb is “suffering from vocal issues and exhaustion.”
Now, a source close to the band is saying that Caleb’s big issue is actually related to alcohol:
“They are trying to get Caleb to go to rehab. It is mostly for alcohol. [That's why] they ended up canceling the whole tour…he drinks like a fish.”
And here’s what a second source had to say about it:
“It’s true. Caleb’s drinking is out of control and they are trying to get him into rehab. It’s a dark demon he has been fighting for awhile.”
If Caleb does in fact have a serious drinking problem, which it sounds like he def might, then we hope he takes that difficult step and seeks treatment.
What do U think about all of this? Is Caleb Followill suffering from alcoholism?
