Dennis Hopper Filed For Divorce Because Of An Affair Before He Died

June 30th 2011 in Perez

We had no idea he was going through all this around the time that he died, which makes his passing even more sad.

Dennis Hopper filed for his divorce because they were having issues and allegedly his wife was having an affair. It was never finalized because of his passing, and now the Dennis Hopper Trust is suing Victoria Hopper because:

“…they claim that she stole artwork that the estate is legally entitled to. Victoria has also filed a lawsuit of her own — against Marin and the trust. Victoria and Dennis had one child together, a daughter, Galen who is 10 years old.”

What was just filed were documents that claim that Victoria was having an affair with James Cannon Boyce, and they want him to be deposed because he might know where she’s keeping the art:

“The docs state: “Victoria had an affair with Mr. Boyce during the time she claims that she and her hsuband Dennis were happily “married and residing together.’ This latter issue bears directly on Victoria’s right to inherit Trust property.”

Boyce’s deposition is being requested because Marin Hopper believes that he could know “where Victoria is keeping the converted art; what pieces of art she has sold; the condition in which the converted art is being kept; Victoria’s statements and/or admissions to Mr. Boyce concerning any of the issues in the pending litigation.”

Hmm! Well, it looks like things are about to get extremely heated in the cases, and we’ll be watching to see what comes of it all!
