Dave Matthews Band Inspires With $1 Mil Relief Pledge & Hurricane Sandy Concert Benefit

Jumping generosity!!

Dave Matthews Band has pledged ONE MILLION DOLLARS to regional Hurricane Sandy relief efforts!

The band has decided to turn their November 30th winter tour opener in East Rutherford, NJ into a benefit concert! All proceeds from the show will go toward helping the storm-ravaged area!

Ah-mazing! Beyond ah-mazing!! Quadruple ah-mazing!!!!

We ADORE artists who give back to the their fans, especially in times of need!!

And we sincerely hope other other community leaders follow suit!

Hopefully the band isn’t being generous out of guilt, we doubt Sandy hummed Crash Into Me as she crashed into Manhattan and the Jersey coastline.
